Woot! I am officially graduating from the Free Motion Quilting Academy. It was an incredible 12 weeks of learning. I am so much more confident in my free motion quilting. I learned a lot of new motifs as well as how to figure out and fix tension problems. We learned how to make a FM quilting plan. But probably my favorite was the graffiti quilting.
Our final project was a “whole cloth” quilt that also was same color thread on the fabric, so the quilting is something that is much easier to see in person. I am proud of my “stay Home” theme on this piece.
I highly recommend the class for any confident beginner or other intermediate quilter that wants to improve their free motion skills.
