Exquisitely Connected

Maryhill Museum of Art, in partnership with artist Molly Johnson and Monmouth Arts, Red Bank, NJ, is excited to launch Exquisitely Connected, a national visual art community-building experience! Similar to The Exquisite Gorge Project, this initiative is also inspired by the Surrealist parlor game, Exquisite Corpse.

My Covid-19 collage was accepted and included in the “Exquisitely Connected” online exhibition.

My Piece was also shared on their instragram feed and wrote this:

“Zoom in on this amazing work from Cynthia Gaub of Everett, WA. She simply states that she based her piece on Covid-19, but do you see that fine stitching? Her chosen art form for this seems to say something about time. Patience. Slowness. Attention.

Cynthia is a middle school art teacher and a fiber artist connected with WAEA.

Thank you, Cynthia for making this delicate beauty.”

Exquisitely Connected is a partnership of Maryhill Museum of Art in Goldendale, WA, and Monmouth Arts in Red Bank, NJ. It is curated by artist Molly Gaston Johnson. All are welcome! To learn more visit the websites of maryhillmuseum.org and monmoutharts.org and look up Exquisitely Connected.
