It is my favorite time of year.. time for Project Quilting! Season 17 is happening and the second challenge is “Scads of Plaid”

My rules this year are:

1. Use only stash.. no special purchases
2. Either make another bug for my series or make a charity quilt for my guild.

This challenge had to go charity. I had some cute scotty dog plaid flannel for the back and just had to figure out a front. I wanted to find a block that would mimic or look like plaid. I found this block by Melanie Rudy. It was simple enough and made the perfect size for our baby quilt charity.

Finished quilt is 36×36″
